Board your flight to Greece. 

- Arrive in Athens
Upon arrival in Athens transfer to your hotel and the balance of the day is at leisure. 

- Full Day in Athens

Enjoy a free day in Athens or join an optional Athens half-day city tour with Acropolis Museum. This tour allows you to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. See the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896 (shortstop). Pass by the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament, and the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma).

At the Acropolis visit the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion, and finally “the harmony between material and spirit”, the monument that “puts the order in mind”, the Parthenon. Next, visit the museum of Acropolis where at last the statues found their home and admire the wonders of the classical era.
The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city on your own. OR choose from a range of optional scheduled sightseeing tours. (B)

Free day to explore the city on your own or participate in an optional full-day scheduled sightseeing tour Cruise to Hydra, Poros, Aegina islands full-day tour. (B)

Head to the three beautiful islands of the Saronic Gulf. Our guide and the hostesses will give all the information concerning the ship and the program of the cruise to make sure you will have a to have a pleasant day.

Hydra: The favorite island of the jet set, whose old traditional, beautiful stone houses and mansions silently witness to a long and turbulent story. The small narrow stone-paved streets await you to explore them on foot or by the island’s traditional “vehicle” the saddled donkeys… captivating walks along with the old seaside promenade crystal clear waters, and radiant fine craft shops and the beauty of Hydra will conquer you! Our stay in Hydra is about 2 hours.

Poros: One of the smallest of the three islands that we visit, its attraction is the narrow strait offering a most enchanting view of the town of Poros. Our stay in Poros is about 1 hour.

Aegina: The largest of the three islands. Apart from its harbor, you can avail of an optional tour (additional cost) to visit the Temple of Afea (Archaeological site) or the Church of Saint Nektarios, whose relics are displayed. Stay in Aegina is about 2 hours.


- Full Day in Athens

Enjoy another free day in Athens or join a full-day tour to Delphi. Drive through the fertile plain of Beotia, crossing the towns of Thebes connected with the tragedy of King Oedipus - Levadia and Arachova (shortstop on the way back).

Arrive at Delphi, the center of the Ancient World - the "Omphalos" (Navel of Earth) - whose prestige extended far beyond the boundaries of the Hellenic World. In a landscape of unparalleled beauty and majesty on the slopes of Mount Parnassus lie the ruins of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios. Visit the Treasury of the Athenians, the Temple of Apollo, and the Museum containing such masterpieces of Ancient Greek sculpture as the bronze Charioteer and the famous athlete Aghias.  Enjoy lunch in the modern village of Delphi, and return to Athens by the same route.  Overnight in Athens. (B, L)
